I finally got Chloe to stay in one place while I caught her on video!  I put her in her crib!  I know, right?  I am a total genius!  She has learned the ABC song and you might need to speak Chloe to understand her completely but we think she has come along way.  This was her talking about 7 months ago! We had a great day.  Jim's parents we able to come up and spend some time with Chloe so that Jim and I could get a little shopping done.  We also went out for lunch, by ourselves!  It was such a treat.   We gave Chloe an early Christmas gift.  She need a hat as I am always losing the one that covers her ear good and Target had this adorable panda one on sale 40% off!  Chloe loves "pambas."

Our first time baking with Mommy.  Baking with a 2 year old has it's challenges but we had a good time dumping and stirring.  I think she enjoyed it and she definitely like licking the beaters. Jim carved one but the others were just gutted and will be carved up later this week, pictures to follow. Chloe got her first professional hair cut yesterday.  I wanted to get a little bob with a few more bangs so that she could wear her hair down with out it hanging in her eyes.  I am not sure that I am in love with it or got exactly that but it turned out cute. Chloe helped Jim make a dump run today and she insisted on the way back to walk in by herself.  Can you believe a couple of months ago she couldn't walk?  She is one amazing Chica!   I was so nice out today. Why is it that I bust my butt during nap time?  Why can't I just relax like this? I am trying to reorganize my sewing room. that is the hope anyway.  Tomorrow Chloe is having a procedure to unplug her tear ducts.  Her tears do not drain normally and it is apparently very common. We don't think it has anything to do with her Microtia but you never know and really it doesn't matter.  It is a very simple procedure but she has to have anesthesia because she needs to hold very still.  I am a bit nervous about this part.  I

We decided today would be the egg coloring day!  So I came home from shopping put Chloe to bed for a nap and boiled some eggs.  A couple of eggs broke and so I thought I would try making egg salad, I don't eat eggs so this was a new thing to me.  I had to google how to boil an egg (not even kidding) but I can apparently make a mean egg salad, according to a 19 month old! We have been practicing egg hunting and finally the day was here.  Chloe was not the most prolific hunter but she got plenty, next year I am sure she will be over loaded with eggs :)  We also did a bunny craft that I got from M3 at Do They Have Salsa in China? I now know why not many crafts get done at Daycare with a 12 month old, 18 month old, Two 2 year olds, a 3 year old and a 4 year old.  OH
