Happy Easter!

We had a great day! But I have just one question, Am I ever going to feel rested ever again?  I am so exhausted and we have another busy week ahead.

Oh by the way I have completely forgotten what number I am in the Spring Fling but I am still posting everyday!

She is so adorable... I wish I could say that you will feel rested again someday... but it has been over 5 years since I became a Mom and... well... of course now with 3 kids under 8 and 1 home only 4 months.. I haven't felt rested in a long while.. just as I have been happier than ever!! It does get easier.. and there are naps every so often!

Dear Cora, your daughter is just the best! Look at her in her beautiful outfit! I wouldn't dare to buy a dress like that for mine, she'd ruin it before getting out of the bathroom... I also loved the picture of Chloe in her cherry dress where it looks like she's running or jumping (in an older post) - they do get the most of our energy their way, it is hard... but yes, it gets better, you even learn to enjoy being away from them for a night once in a while... though I don't know about rested up, it's been 7 years over here, not sure I've managed to fully recharge the batteries at all, but would not have it any other way! (you do still look great though, if I'm allowed to give my opinion on that, I never have the energy to get my hair nicely done like you). Enjoy the week that's coming and it'll be over before you know it, regards, Jade

Love it.. and you don't need rest.. this is where I learned how to run on about 5-6 hours sleep.. have never learned how to sleep in yet..LOL..

Cake-Pops?

I saw this cute book on cake pops and thought that can't be that hard, yeah right! I thought hey Chloe's Birthday is coming up and just look at all the cute holiday ones.  This could become a fun family baking event.  AND THAT IS WHAT I GET FOR THINKING!   I baked a cake last night.  I read the instructions twice and today at nap time I gathered the supplies and dug in.  It all seemed to go well until the dipping.  I had one panda suicide right off the stick he must have known his fate was never to be as cute as the pictures in the book.  I switched to cupcakes thinking they would be easier and it was but they still had a longing, they longed to be cupcakes. On the upside they are yummy! I might try again, has anyone made these before?  Any tricks to make the dipping go easier?
