Eleven Months

Can you believe that it has been this long? This time last year all we were waiting on was our 171H and my birthday. I thought the tough part was over, was I ever wrong. The paperchase was easy compared to waiting forever. If the predictions that were made when we started this journey we would be about half way though but, as it stands, we are very far away, but we are still closer than we were eleven months ago, so I guess that is something.
Jim and I went out for Chinese food tonight, we are on a quest to find a good Chinese restaurant our area. Well, we did not find it tonight. We knew we were in for it when we saw the menu and hardly recognised the dishes. So we ordered what we thought would be safe BBQ pork for a appetizer, Jim got the sesame chicken and I got the cashew chicken vegetable. Well it started out OK with the pork although a little dry, but then they brought the main meals Jim's should have been called fried chicken and gravy with a dusting of sesame seeds and mine should have been celery stir fry with maybe a little chicken and some cashews. They were served with rice does that make it Chinese? I guess our search continues. We are now at home and having a glass of wine with ice cream, yummy.

yeah, on the dinner, let's not go there again. I think we should have gotten the hint that it wasn't going to be great when we saw the violently ORANGE seating...oh, and did I mention you could have taken KFC Chicken, with KFC gravy, thrown some sesame seeds on it and you would have the sesame chicken I had...Mmmm-mmm.

Several years ago I stopped cutting my hair, I get small trims and cut my bangs but for the most part I have not had a change is style or a shorter length for quite some time.  I made a pact with my self to let it grow and not get it cut until I got pregnant.  That was when we were still trying fertility treatments and thought that it was only a matter of time. I have had long hair for a very long time and thought if I was able to grow it a few more inches I would be able to donate it to Locks of Love or some other similar organization.
