A Large Family?

I have not posted in a while so here are just a couple reasons why Jim and I need a big family with children! And preferably sooner rather than later.

#1 Jim cooked this gigantic bowl of Yakisoba. It was better than take out and that is just the left overs. I don’t think he knows that only 2 of us eat people food.




#2 I tend to buy movies for no particular reason especially kid flicks, they are just fun and I can watch them over and over again. I got these two today when I was at Costco for some Aleve.






I don't know why it is showing up sideways I give up and I'm posting it this way. voice all complaints to Blogger, ugh.

I need to get that National Treasures... looks really good.. You do need a bigger family..

I did manage to make more than enough food...but it was good, huh? Maybe Kim could send us a kid or two on loan? She will have to pay shipping and handling, of course.

I am buying lots of children's DVD's as we have very few. We want all the classics so that TV time with Lizzy will be mainly movies and not other "junk".

Cake-Pops?

I saw this cute book on cake pops and thought that can't be that hard, yeah right! I thought hey Chloe's Birthday is coming up and just look at all the cute holiday ones.  This could become a fun family baking event.  AND THAT IS WHAT I GET FOR THINKING!   I baked a cake last night.  I read the instructions twice and today at nap time I gathered the supplies and dug in.  It all seemed to go well until the dipping.  I had one panda suicide right off the stick he must have known his fate was never to be as cute as the pictures in the book.  I switched to cupcakes thinking they would be easier and it was but they still had a longing, they longed to be cupcakes. On the upside they are yummy! I might try again, has anyone made these before?  Any tricks to make the dipping go easier?
