Pampered Party, Treasure Hunt, Panda, and a Lost Follower
I went to a Pampered Chef party yesterday that my mom put on. It was a lot of fun. Both Emily and Molly were able to come and we had a great time. I still have to place my order since I am terrible about making decisions but I will sit down tonight and write out my final order. For those of you unfamiliar with Pampered Chef, their stoneware is amazing.
We have the large bar pan and use it for everything that goes in the oven. I made cookies on it Friday night the recipe said 10-12 minutes so I set the timer for 10 minutes and I checked them but they weren’t done yet. I set the timer for another 2 minutes but I made a mistake and I set it for 20 minutes instead. The next time I looked at the timer it was 7 minutes later. I thought for sure they were goners but they were fine not burnt at all, I was so excited.
While I was at the party Jim headed south to set up a treasure hunt for his Sister and family. We hope they enjoy it. Head over to Jim’s blog to read all about the fun.
Kung Fu Panda came out today so that is what is on our agenda. We are watching the movie and being pretty lazy, getting over colds and shingles and trying to avoid any stress.
Well I lost my first follower. It is my fault, I commented on a post that I thought was light hearted and apparently it was very serious. I did not intend to offend anyone or hurt anyone’s feelings but I may have, for that I apologize. I have strong feelings about things sometime and I know that not everyone agrees so I try to keep my feelings out of the public blog, which is why I also have a private blog that I keep just for myself. This comment did not involve one of those strong feelings it was just a comment where I had a different view of the situation. I, perhaps, should have kept my comments superficial but I try to be honest and sincere in my commenting. So the last I will say about this is that I am sorry for upsetting this reader and I hope that you are able to find what you need in some other outlet since I understand that you are no longer blogging.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend, they are always over too quickly.
