Here are the rules:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open to page 56.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 2 to 5 sentences, along with these rules.
5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual book. Pick the CLOSEST!
6. Tag five other people to do the same
OK I must confess here I noticed this tag at work but there is absolutely nothing nearby except chemical catalogs and I really don't count those as books so I waited until I got home. What I found is not much better but here it goes.
"This is great... until he reaches adulthood (some even balk at the nicknames in high school). Is that how he is going to establish himself in the world with a child's name? Plus, it is unlikely that anyone he knew when he was younger will ever call him anything other than Johnny. All of this begs the question: if you are going to refer to you son as anything other than his first name, why then give him that first name?"
That is from The Complete Book of Baby Names by Lesley Bolton. It is sitting next to my chair the book that I am reading right now is in the bedroom and I finally put the Twilight books up on a shelf.
I love name books, strange considering according to my blog I am naming my daughter Little Miss What's Her Name. You might be surprise that I do have a boy name picked out in case BB is a boy and I have a few alternatives to LM when our girl comes along but don't bother pestering me (Kim :0) I am not giving anything up on the LM situation just yet.
So for rule number 6 I tag

Now if you don't want to play along that is fine, it won't hurt my feeling but it was fun and opened up one of my favorite subjects names. I may have to post a bit more on this later, stay tuned.

I am sooo sick of waiting for these kids names..
I will never call them by their REAL name.. whatever that might be..
I will always call them BB and Little Miss..
And that will be all YOUR fault..
LOL..
Hugs..
Love Ya Girl.
And I totally think naming a kid Winston Churchill or Ronald George Bill George Barack would be interesting...character building even.
Richard Milhouse? Dwight D.? Franklin Delanoe? I really think NOT naming the kids for historic individuals is hobbling them for life!
Can't these countries get their acts together and send you these adorable children? ( Hope I didn't step on any toes).

On the subject of names, please post some of your favorites. I LOVE hearing people's potentials. (I never want to jinx putting mine out there, though, so it's a very hypocritical pasttime.) :)
