Sewing

So As you might have guessed I am back to sewing!! I posted my latest dress on my sewing/fundraising blog. We really need to put it in high gear and make some serious money for this adoption. We have the funds available but the more we can pay in cash the easier it will be for us once we come home so fundraising has been on my mind a lot lately. If you have any great ideas for us please let me know. If you prefer to email me privately my email is linked in the side bar.
One thing I have considered doing is raffling off a patchwork dress. These are time consuming and more expensive to make so I don't offer them for sale. Do you think any one would buy a $10 raffle ticket for one of these dresses?

I am sure I could come up with a couple other prizes too. Let me know your thoughts.

Those dresses are so adorable.
I guess that means if you only sell one raffle ticket you would have to let it go for $10.00
If you sold the tickets for $5.00 you would be more apt to sell more tickets. But hmmm what if? I don't know Cora. It's a gamble that's for sure.
I'd buy a ticket. Maybe check out some of the other fundraising blogs. I've seen $10 or 3 for $25, but they are offering a $500 value prize. So $10 might be high...but you have to weigh the pros and cons and figure out how you will get the word out, etc! (You know I'm happy to plug for you on my blogs!)

I think setting a goal and maybe having a thermometer or one of those chip in things where people see how much is good. It would sure help if you had a face to go along with the fundraising too, but...

Maybe a giveaway on another blog would help you get some exposure? I know someone who might be interested if you want to contact me on FB.

I think your dresses are the best, but I may not be able to be impartial. As for number of tickets...I think we could do it. I know a few teachers with kids...
