Haven't You Always Wanted a Monkey

Toby got a little hyper last night. It might have something to do with the fact that it was snowing and Jim let him out the front to run a little. He decided to make the rounds around the alley before circling back to see if we were still here. I have a firm belief he feels it is his lone duty to turn all the snow in the neighborhood yellow. So when we got back in the house he decided to work off his energy by walking all over me trying to get me to throw his toy monkey. Here it is in pictures.


And just to prove it was snowing.

I accidentally read the first two sentences of your post wrong. This is how I read it:

I finally figured out my mistake but not until after a good chuckle.

Toby is so cute!! Like the monkey too.
Had a really rough day today..... Not about the adoption. More like the house,Christmas and lack of. I so can't deal with this. Only a few more days before the cast is off. YIPPEE.......

Cake-Pops?

I saw this cute book on cake pops and thought that can't be that hard, yeah right! I thought hey Chloe's Birthday is coming up and just look at all the cute holiday ones.  This could become a fun family baking event.  AND THAT IS WHAT I GET FOR THINKING!   I baked a cake last night.  I read the instructions twice and today at nap time I gathered the supplies and dug in.  It all seemed to go well until the dipping.  I had one panda suicide right off the stick he must have known his fate was never to be as cute as the pictures in the book.  I switched to cupcakes thinking they would be easier and it was but they still had a longing, they longed to be cupcakes. On the upside they are yummy! I might try again, has anyone made these before?  Any tricks to make the dipping go easier?
