The New Year

Hi and welcome to 2010. Yep, it is a new decade and although I have had 10 years to prepare, I am not prepared. Although, I am happy for the change of year, I am not sure what this year or this decade will bring. Toby did not have any issues seeing out 2009 with a lovely run in the snow. I have decided to not to make any goals, except to do the best I can at what ever I do. I hope that 2010 will find us to be parents but I am not making any promises at this point.

Our New Years Eve was pretty uneventful, in fact I was in bed at 10, I just could not keep my eyes open. I woke up again right before midnight when the neighbors decided that a firework display was the best way to celebrate.

Friday I went with my sisters and mom to help Molly register for the baby. It is only about a month until her due date. I am so excited to meet my little niece or nephew, for the record I think it is a boy. I guess I'm just going against the grain there are a lot of people that think it is a girl. But we will soon see.

Other than that and grocery shopping we did not do much except hang around the house. We are trying to save money and this month we are going to see how much we can save by not buying anything that is not essential. We have a bad habit of going to Target on the weekends and buying stuff we don't need. We have pretty much already cut out eating out, but we do get lunch on the weekends so none of that this month. I do have a couple gifts I need to buy but I have done a lot of that shopping in advance. So I hope that it makes a difference I guess we will see at the end of the month.

I am also having an issue with photo bucket and some of my blog stuff is not showing up, it seems to be back now. However, maybe that is a sign that it is time for a change. I was going to wait until after BB got home but maybe now is good. Nothing fancy since we can't spend any extra money, I will be doing it myself. But if you pop in and things look a little different you know whats going on.

We are in agreement. Molly is having a boy. I just know it.ö¿ö
I hope that 2010 is a great year for you! It seems like there has been some intermittent issues with photobucket showing up lately.
Happy New Year Cora!
I was wondering about Photobucket as some of my things have been disappearing too!
Ahh Target.... the place where you go to spend all of your monthly wages ( thats me!). Especially with a child on the way. Besides Gymboree and Gap.

Can't wait to see what you come up with for your new blog design!

Hugs,
Jody

Don't hate me for saying this Cora...but at the risk of sounding like Pollyanna, "I AM JUST SURE THIS HAS GOT TO BE YOUR YEAR!" That's my prayer for you and I am sticking to it! I fully expect to see photographs of you and Jim with BB IN YOUR ARMS in 2010!

Hugs to you both...

Fun picture.

I was in bed before midnight on New Year's too. Must be our advanced age, huh?

Cora,

According to everything I'm seeing, China does allow switching agencies. There is one agency I know of where you can pick your child, and switch after PA. I just read this on a couple yahoo groups I'm on. Let me know what you find out.
