The Neighborhood Buzz...Literally

I have been meaning to share this with you but I needed to do a little editing and just found the time today.  It was quite the experience about a week ago.  We got a great lesson on honey bees as a swarm of them landed in our neighbor's tree.  The Bee Keeper was nice enough to wait for me to get home from work, I was about 10 minutes away.  I never thought I would stand calmly in a swarm of bees but in the state they were in it was easy and having someone there that new what was going on helped a lot.   It was very educational.  It is also a very small world as we later learned that the Bee Keeper is our brother-in-law's cousin.   He was super nice, I kinda wished we would have know that when he was here.

Today is also Independence Day.  I hope everyone is having a wonderful 4th of July.  It is really windy here so I don't think we will get to see the show that we normally do.  Oh well, Jim and I celebrating with a good bottle of Piety Flats Wine, artichokes and a BBQed steak, YUM.
