I Hate Exercise - part 3

I am still not loving the exercise, however with the exception of last week I have been going 3 times a week.  Last week we were really busy getting ready for the Hop Festival but yesterday I went back determined to continue to go 3 times a week so I can prove to my doctor that I am trying at least, not that it is doing any good.  So I get in the pool and start my deep water walking and I over hear some other women talking about going to another pool for the next 3 weeks.  I finally got up the courage to ask what they were talking about (basically admitting my eavesdropping ways).  Apparently the pool is going to be closed for maintenance for a couple weeks.  I can't win!  I don't know what else to do.  Another pool is not really an option for me since I live on the other side of town.  On top of that after they re-open the schedule is going to change.  I don't know what the new schedule will be but if it is not open after work I do not see myself going.

I still hate exercise, I think it is out to sabotage me.  Post on the Hop Festival still to come.  I also think it is time for a big ol' adoption rant but I need to work up to that one so it might be a couple of days.

I am sending you BIG HUGS...
LOVE YA..
Hang in there...exercise is tough. I like to think of it as a lifestyle. (One I am NOT doing well with!)Find an exercise that you like or at least don't mind doing and pretend to like it. After a few weeks it will become a habit. For me it's walking. I am not super committed, but I try to walk the dog each night. With this horrible heat recently it's been A LOT shorter, but we walked. If you liked walking you could put on a stepper and count the number of steps you take a day and then make a goal to increase that. Maybe walk instead of drive somewhere, take the stairs, walk the dogs, etc. Sounds so easy and ideal, right? I suck at it...but it is my goal. LOL! Remember that Wii Fit bandwagon I got on? I fell off and I even liked doing it!!!
Big hug! I need to figure out how to incorporate diet/excercise into my life.... eeek
