Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Girl!

We helped celebrate our youngest niece's 1st Birthday last night.  Leah is such a sweet little girl, she wanted to enjoy her birthday cake one sprinkle at a time.  Chloe enjoyed sharing in wrapping paper and ribbons.

saw your diaper woa's..try going down a size in huggies if it will not pop open...at night put a regular one on top...I had a skinny butt leaker and that worked pretty well (not perfect) for us... you do have to change a bit more often during the day because they are smalled, and when you go out you can double up too - but it's to expensive to do all the time!

Cake-Pops?

I saw this cute book on cake pops and thought that can't be that hard, yeah right! I thought hey Chloe's Birthday is coming up and just look at all the cute holiday ones.  This could become a fun family baking event.  AND THAT IS WHAT I GET FOR THINKING!   I baked a cake last night.  I read the instructions twice and today at nap time I gathered the supplies and dug in.  It all seemed to go well until the dipping.  I had one panda suicide right off the stick he must have known his fate was never to be as cute as the pictures in the book.  I switched to cupcakes thinking they would be easier and it was but they still had a longing, they longed to be cupcakes. On the upside they are yummy! I might try again, has anyone made these before?  Any tricks to make the dipping go easier?
