3 months!

Today is 3 month from adoption day!  We didn't celebrate since we had doctor appointments all morning and what fun is that.  We did stop on the way home from Seattle and get some Chinese food!  I do believe we have a new favorite, too bad it is 2 hours away from home. Jim and I agreed it was the best Chinese since Beijing, I think Chloe was even a fan.



Does anyone know what these noodles are called, in the store or if you can buy them? Chloe was a big fan as you can see.   I also think we need to start a systematic search for a good Chinese place a little closer or move :)

That was so funny. I have been watching a video of a mother eagle feeding her baby's. That is what you two looked like. So funny. She thought it was funny too.

What a nice video! Chloe didn't seem too upset about the doctor's - or did the food come before the appointments? Only three months, it feels like she's been with you for so much longer! As for the noodles, I am not an expert, I just know there are some thick Japanese noodles called Udon or Soba noodles, maybe that helps? Enjoy the food hunting and hope it all went well at the Dr's indeed!

Cake-Pops?

I saw this cute book on cake pops and thought that can't be that hard, yeah right! I thought hey Chloe's Birthday is coming up and just look at all the cute holiday ones.  This could become a fun family baking event.  AND THAT IS WHAT I GET FOR THINKING!   I baked a cake last night.  I read the instructions twice and today at nap time I gathered the supplies and dug in.  It all seemed to go well until the dipping.  I had one panda suicide right off the stick he must have known his fate was never to be as cute as the pictures in the book.  I switched to cupcakes thinking they would be easier and it was but they still had a longing, they longed to be cupcakes. On the upside they are yummy! I might try again, has anyone made these before?  Any tricks to make the dipping go easier?
