Happy Second Mother's Day!

We had a great weekend. Jim and Chloe got me a new camera for Mother's Day and I love it!  I had a Nikon point and shoot and it was horrible!  I had to push the button 3-4 times every time to get one picture and then most of the time the pictures turned out out of focus or I missed the shot completely because 2 year old's move fast.  He got me a Canon elph 300HS and it is AMAZING! It takes pictures fast and in focus!  I am so happy with it.  I don't need a camera to take great portraits that is what Jim's is for, I just wanted something that will take good snapshots.  Something to help me capture what life is like so we don't forget.  Moments like this...

After nap today I caught some pictures of Chloe playing on her climbing toy.

Then there are faces like this that can never be duplicated!

It was fun taking pictures of some of the flowers in the yard too!  

Our first Clematis bloom of the year.  I can't wait to see them all in bloom.

And I had to give the Marco function a try too. 

Mother's Day was great.  Chloe and Jim brought me McDonalds and Starbucks in bed! Then Jim took Chloe to Lowes while I went to Target by myself!  Then we spent the rest of the day out in the yard.  Jim did most of the work and we got grass planted in the back!  Can't wait for it to come up, project backyard oasis is a work in progress.  

And last but not least, new job update...I LOVE it!  I am so happy that I took the plunge and did it.  Everyone is so great to work with and I am actually not dreading going to work everyday!

I love the pictures. Chloe is the perfect model. I would buy a better camera too if I had something to take pictures of. Your flowers are great.

Reading and Riding

Chloe has been "reading" for a while.  She has her favorites memorized although it is not always easy to catch the whole story. She also got a bicycle yesterday and she has taken off riding. Today we all rode all the way to the park and back and she did wonderful! At first she has a little trouble with the brakes but it didn't take long before she was riding like a champ. As she says "I'm a good bicycle rider now!"   Hope everyone is having a happy Father's day!

Pictures!!

Pictures!!! I finally figured out how to add pictures to my Blog from Windows 8!.  I got a new laptop for my birthday and although I love that it I am no longer scared it is going to start fire, I have a ton more memory and it has a great backlit keyboard, I HATE Windows 8.  Seriously, I don't know how they could make things more difficult by trying to simplify them but congratulations Microsoft you have out done yourself.  I typically don't mind a little change and I think it takes a lot to frustrate me when it comes to technology but I'm seriously considering returning this just because of the operating system. Thanks to Gina, I was finally able to up load some pictures but last night I was ready to chuck the computer out a window.
