Weekend Update

Just a quick update from the Emily's.

We have had a great day swimming and just hanging out. It took us a while to get everything together. I think once BB and Little Miss comes home we will need a little better preparation skills to get out of the house. We only had 2 dogs and it took us until afternoon to finially get out of town. Here are a couple pics for you, more when we get home.

Hey our computer is back on line. It has been a dry week or so. Love your changing table, thinking about trying that drink and Toby would look cute in some swimming tunks. Hey, how many watermelons would it take to make enough drinks for 150 thristy ladies? Love Ya mom

Cake-Pops?

I saw this cute book on cake pops and thought that can't be that hard, yeah right! I thought hey Chloe's Birthday is coming up and just look at all the cute holiday ones.  This could become a fun family baking event.  AND THAT IS WHAT I GET FOR THINKING!   I baked a cake last night.  I read the instructions twice and today at nap time I gathered the supplies and dug in.  It all seemed to go well until the dipping.  I had one panda suicide right off the stick he must have known his fate was never to be as cute as the pictures in the book.  I switched to cupcakes thinking they would be easier and it was but they still had a longing, they longed to be cupcakes. On the upside they are yummy! I might try again, has anyone made these before?  Any tricks to make the dipping go easier?
