Sunday Snapshot: Hair Cut

Chloe got her first professional hair cut yesterday.  I wanted to get a little bob with a few more bangs so that she could wear her hair down with out it hanging in her eyes.  I am not sure that I am in love with it or got exactly that but it turned out cute. I think that when the sides get a little longer she is going to be sporting a cute A-line cut but we will see.  We went to a fun kids place that is down the road from my sisters.

oh, she looks so cute! Lily had her hair trimmed a few weeks ago at a similar type of salon, but she cried the entire time! Looks like those cheerios kept Chloe happy :)

She's gorgeous! Is it shorter or inverted in the back? When it's shorter in the back, it grows out really nice. You will be very happy with it!

Cake-Pops?

I saw this cute book on cake pops and thought that can't be that hard, yeah right! I thought hey Chloe's Birthday is coming up and just look at all the cute holiday ones.  This could become a fun family baking event.  AND THAT IS WHAT I GET FOR THINKING!   I baked a cake last night.  I read the instructions twice and today at nap time I gathered the supplies and dug in.  It all seemed to go well until the dipping.  I had one panda suicide right off the stick he must have known his fate was never to be as cute as the pictures in the book.  I switched to cupcakes thinking they would be easier and it was but they still had a longing, they longed to be cupcakes. On the upside they are yummy! I might try again, has anyone made these before?  Any tricks to make the dipping go easier?
