Watching TV with Baby Dolly

Chloe doesn't really watch TV much she can't sit still long enough. Today she found Toy Story and wanted to watch "Tato Head"  She found a "comfy" seat with Baby Dolly in the doll cradle I had as a child.  I needs a bit of repair but Chloe doesn't seem to mind.

It wasn't long before Baby Dolly was kicked out and the cradle was all hers.

She finally noticed Mom taking pictures.  

About 5 minutes later she was up and running again.

Cake-Pops?

I saw this cute book on cake pops and thought that can't be that hard, yeah right! I thought hey Chloe's Birthday is coming up and just look at all the cute holiday ones.  This could become a fun family baking event.  AND THAT IS WHAT I GET FOR THINKING!   I baked a cake last night.  I read the instructions twice and today at nap time I gathered the supplies and dug in.  It all seemed to go well until the dipping.  I had one panda suicide right off the stick he must have known his fate was never to be as cute as the pictures in the book.  I switched to cupcakes thinking they would be easier and it was but they still had a longing, they longed to be cupcakes. On the upside they are yummy! I might try again, has anyone made these before?  Any tricks to make the dipping go easier?
